Voting Controversy on American Idol
Well, i do believe in Kris Allen's talent but it will be unfair to the other participants if this accusation is true. The American Idol Staff should have a clear explanation about this.

The Amazing Voive of Susan Boyle
I got a copy of what Susan Boyle sang, Les Miserables' I Dreamed a Dream. Check it out here!
Lyrics of Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream
There was a time when men were kindWhen their voices were soft. And their words invitingThere was a time when love was blind. And the world was a songAnd the song was excitingThere was a timeThen it all went wrong.
I dreamed a dream in time gone byWhen hope was high. And life worth livingI dreamed that love would never dieI dreamed that God would be forgiving. Then I was young and unafraidWhen dreams were made and used and wasted. There was no ransom to be paid. No song unsung, no wine untasted.
But the tigers come at night. With their voices soft as thunder. As they tear your hopes apart. And they turn your dream to shame.
He slept a summer by my side. He filled my days with endless wonder. He took my childhood in his strideBut he was gone when autumn came.
And still I dream he’ll come to me. That we will live the years together. But there are dreams that cannot be. And there are storms we cannot weather.
I had a dream my life would be. So different from this hell I’m living. So different now from what it seems. Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.

Madonna's Adoption Rejected by Court
“Our official policy is that we do not encourage our children to be sent into broken homes. [Madonna's] relationships may negatively affect the adoption of Mercy“, claimed a senior official Simon Chisale from Malawi’s Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Development.
The official also added, “The news she is linked to another woman’s husband and a young man less than half her age makes us question her morals“.
“We do not only look at the material issues, but also the moral standing of prospective adoptive parents, because we do not want our children’s morals to be corrupted”, Chisale remarked.
Guy Ritchie was saddened up by the failed attempt to adopt of his ex-wife Madonna to a 3-year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James from Malawi.
"Madonna is a fantastic and loving mother who cares deeply about her own children, and children who may need additional help and support," he said in a statement Friday.Madonna and Ritchie -- who divorced last year after eight years of marriage.
"I fully supported Madonna in her decision to apply for this adoption, and I am saddened that her application has been rejected. She is motivated only by being a caring parent who seeks to share some of the advantages and opportunities that her life has given her," he said of his ex, who has appealed Friday's surprise ruling.
"This time it did not work out, but there will be other opportunities and I wish her well in them," Ritchie concluded. "She is a great mum."
According to this kind of situation, is it rational to judge a mother who loves her children while being a 'not-so-good' wife?
I asked this because, no matter how bad a woman can be, I believe she'll never forget about her children. Though she might not be the best wife, but mothers will always be a loving mum.

G20 Update : Facing Economic Crisis
The financial markets and the world economy continue to face serious global challenges and the severity of the crisis and ongoing uncertainties demonstrate the need for urgent action. During the United Kingdoms Chair, the immediate priority will be to gain further agreements for a concerted, co-ordinated international response.
Everyone was so optimistic during the summit and that they believe the importance of government actions will be magnified the more they are coordinated across the globe.
ITUC General Secretary Guy Ryder said: "We are covering every possible base in alerting world leaders to the depth of anger and frustration felt by working people everywhere at the complete failure of unregulated capitalism."
"People are paying for this disastrous failure of governance with their jobs and livelihood, and nothing less than a complete overhaul of the system can meet the urgent needs of this moment."
However, he was deeply worried that G20 governments are not yet ready to show the necessary leadership. "Every moment they delay taking the far-reaching decisions needed means more jobs lost and more people falling into poverty."
OBAMA: LATEST JOBLESS REPORT
BADEN-BADEN, Germany (AP) -- President Barack Obama says a new report on unemployment in the United States is a "stark reminder" of the global challenges created by the economic crisis.
Obama spoke about the U.S. jobless picture from Baden-Baden, Germany, where he met Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel before a NATO conference in the German resort town.
Speaking about the sliding economy and the loss of jobs in the U.S., Obama said no nation can isolate itself from the global market. He said that without concerted and united global action, there will be "collective failure."

Ricky “Hitman” Hatton and Manny “Pacman” Pacquio FIGHT (who's your bet?)
QOUTED QOUTES FROM RICKY AND MANNY
Ricky said:
“I am unbeaten at 140 pounds, and believe I am unbeatable at this weight."
“This is a fight between two nice men, but there is nothing nice about either me or Manny when we get inside the ring."
“This reminds me a bit of when I fought Kostya Tsyzu. No one gave me a chance against him and that seems like a long time ago. I truly believe I am a much better fighter now too."
“Both of us don’t go backwards and I think that is the key to the fight. Whoever ends up going backwards is going to lose."
“‘We both have very exciting and aggressive styles and this fight is going to be tremendous."
“I noticed in some of Manny’s recent fights, his opponents were a bit worried about his aggression. That is not going to happen with me. I won’t be bothered by his aggression and feel ready to take it on"
“I’m in fantastic condition already. That just shows how much I’m up for this fight.
“Manny shuffles in and out and tries to bring you onto the punch. I have good footwork and I think I can bring him on to my shots."
“Sometimes he comes in square and goes for broke which leaves him open to be hit. If he leaves himself open there is no reason why I shouldn’t be confident.
“He did beat Oscar who is bigger than me, but he had nothing that night. If I had boxed Oscar then I would have beat him even quicker."
“We both have great fans and we will be fighting our hearts out for them that night. I want to do the U.K. proud and come home victorious.”
(Hmmm.... Manny you better Watch out for Hatton, anyway no matter what it takes for you Manny, win or lose you're still our Pacman the "King of the Ring" )
Manny's Reply:
“This is my first time in England. I am very surprised and overwhelmed by the turnout of all of the Filipino people. I would like to thank everyone for turning out.
“I am amazed by the support I have been shown. I did not expect it in Manchester because this is Ricky’s home town, where I know he is loved. I appreciate my supporters coming to see me.
“I was surprised to see so many of my people in Manchester. I think Ricky Hatton was surprised to see them too. Although it is Hatton’s place, I think Manchester is now ‘Mannychester!"
“The fight will be a great challenge because Ricky is a great fighter. It will be a once in a lifetime fight, the kind you only see once in boxing history."
“This is a smart match. For Ricky and me because of our styles. He is smart and strong too."
“I know what Ricky’s weaknesses are and I have begun to train for them. His strength is his left uppercut, but I can handle that, too."
“Hatton hits very hard, has a strong left hand and a good uppercut too. I must and will train very hard."
“I feel strong at 140, 145, 147. The weight is fine for me."
“Hatton is bigger than I am but this isn’t about big. It’s about punching hard and being effective."
“There is a respect for Hatton and his team but in the ring it is all different. There are no timeouts"
“Like all of my fights, I dedicate this fight to my country. I remember as a little boy. I ate one meal a day and sometimes slept in the street. I will never forget that and it inspires me to fight hard, stay strong and remember all of the people of my country trying to achieve better for themselves."
“My first fight gave me one dollar (50 pesos). I gave the dollar to my mother.”
WELL MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!!! GOODLUCK!!!

COURT DOCUMENTS, served on FACEBOOK
High Court associate justice David Glendall approved the serving of legal papers on Craig Axe, who is alleged to have taken 241,000 dollars (126,300 US) from his family's market garden company account.
Axe was believed to be in Britain but had been corresponding by email and was known to have a site on Facebook, the court in Wellington was told.
Daniel Vincent, the lawyer for the family company who requested the use of Facebook, said there had been difficulties serving the papers, informing Axe that he is being sued, by conventional methods.
He told the New Zealand Press Association after the hearing he believed it was first time a court in this country had allowed papers to be served through Facebook.
The idea came from a case in Australia in December, when Facebook was used to serve a court order after a couple defaulted on a home loan.
Facebook was also used by police in the New Zealand tourist hub Queenstown in January to help identify a bungling burglar who removed his face mask as he tried unsuccessfully to break into the safe of a local bar.
Footage from a surveillance camera was posted on the site, leading to the burglar's identification and arrest.

Tom Jones and His Songs
Jones, who for the first time co-wrote some of the songs on his latest CD, sings on The Road that "I have felt weakness when I was strong, felt sweetness when I was wrong." But Jones also sings to his wife Linda that "the road always leads back to you."
Jones says his wife didn't ask a lot of questions about who he was with on the road, where she never wanted to join him lest she see how women threw themselves (and, famously, their undergarments) at him.
The bottom line, he says, is that she told him she'd be satisfied, "as long as you come home to me, as long as you don't go running off with somebody."
For their recent 52nd anniversary, Jones says he sent Linda 3 dozen of her favorite red roses since he was on the road, where he'll stay through April performing at mostly small clubs to promote 24 Hours, his first CD released in the U.S. in 15 years.
The 2009 National Budget
MalacaƱang said, it will allow more spending to "blunt the effects of the global economic downturn," Budget and Management Secretary Rolando Andaya announced yesterday.
According to them the increase in the budget will provide funds for activities that will encourage growth in the economy and create jobs, like building more infrastructure and increasing funds for social services.
The P10-billion ESF will fund the construction of at least 6,000 classrooms, 2,959 kilometers of farm-to-market roads, and irrigation works in 125,000 hectares, among other infrastructure projects.
By agency, the biggest recipient of this year’s budget is the Department of Education (DepEd) with an outlay of P158.2 billion, followed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) with P130 billion, and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) with P63 billion.
The other agencies with the biggest budgets are: Department of National Defense (DND), P56.5 billion; Department of Agriculture (DA), P41.2 billion; Department of Health (DoH), P27.9 billion; Department of Transportation and Communications (DoTC), P25 billion; State Universities and Colleges, P22.8 billion; Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), P13.1 billion; and the Judiciary, P12.6 billion.
The President then promised that no single government employee will lose job!
